Obituary of Stephen A. Arconti

Stephen Anthony Arconti, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Monday, January 8th, 2024. Steve was born on Oct. 19th, 1957 to the late Anthony and Jeantte(Lobraico) Arconti in Danbury hospital. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Christina (Seaburg) Arconti, his two wonderful sons, Scott (Heather) and Kevin (Timara), his sister Sandy Arconti Atanasoff (Sergio), two beautiful granddaughters, Hanna and Olivia, his niece and goddaughter Gina Atanasoff , his sister-in-law Lisa Seaburg Freeman (David) and nephew Eric Seaburg (Muoi).

Steve attended St. Gregory the Great school, was a graduate of Immaculate High School and attended Western Ct. State College where he proudly played baseball and had a pretty respectable baseball career as a 3rd baseman. His love for sports continued throughout his life where he volunteered for many years as a coach for DAYO football, taking the Danbury Trojans to two state championships and a national championship. He also coached Danbury High School lacrosse, Danbury High School, Abbott Tech and Immaculate High School football. Some of Steve’s great accomplishments were the meaningful connections and positive impact he made with the many student-athletes he touched along the way.

Steve worked for John Hancock Life Insurance company until this retirement. He then worked as a home improvement contractor and a hot dog vendor. Steve was quite creative and you could find him on many occasions making wooden chairs, or painting murals in his garage. He loved music, sports, casino games, his dog Cassius and fishing. His love of laughter brought joy to many. However, his love for his family was what brought him the most pride and joy.
