Obituary of Mithilesh Kumar Sinha

Mithilesh Kumar Sinha of East Lyme, CT passed away peacefully on Thursday January 21,2021 at Danbury Hospital. He was born on January 15, 1946 in Patna India to the late Nawal and Sarojini Narain. He was the widower of Mrs. Rajni Sinha.

Mithilesh earned his masters degree in civil and structural engineering. He completed his degree from McMaster University in Canada. He came to the United States in 1968 where he worked for Stone and Webster and Millstone power plant as chief engineer. He settled in East Lyme, CT in 1981 and raised his family. He enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things. He was a philosopher and was very well read. He enjoyed having long discussions with his friends and especially his wife.

Mithilesh will be sadly missed by his daughter Annupma Chandra and her husband Sandeep of New Milford, CT, Vinnita Sinha of Madison,CT, and his grandchildren Vivek and Vijay Chandra, and Neil Sinha. He also has many relatives in India.

Due to Covid restrictions, all funeral services will be held privately.  Please feel free to share a memory with Mithilesh’s family.
