Obituary of Sr. Corinne Gmuer SSND

Sister Corinne Gmuer, SSND, a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame,     died on August 29, 2020, at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton. She was born on August   8, 1930, in Rochester, NY.

After pronouncing her vows as a School Sister of Notre Dame in 1951, Sister ministered as teacher and administrator at Catholic schools in Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.  In her retirement she resided at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton, Connecticut.

The community at the Villa will celebrate a private Mass for Sister Corinne on September 8. Burial will be in the SSND community section of St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel, Connecticut.
