Obituary of Roberta Christina Palomba
Roberta C. Palomba, 79, of Brookfield, formerly of the Bronx, NY, wife of the late Robert E. Mullen, Jr., died peacefully at the Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Danbury on May 9. She was born in the Bronx, NY on September 12, 1939, daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (Pantliano) Palomba.
Roberta was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. Roberta worked for many years as an office manager for the Public Adjustment Bureau in New York, and helped care for her beloved grandchildren in her later years. Roberta was a strong, funny, caring woman who loved her family and enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading and her Brookfield Library book club
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Christine Errichiello and her husband, Diego, with whom she made her home in Brookfield, and Laura Mullen of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Taylor, Sebastian and Valentina; and her great granddaughter, Holly Barding.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 13th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Cremation and interment in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, May 12th between the hours of 2:00 – 5:00pm.
