Kat, Mary and Jenny,
Today was such a beautiful, loving celebration of your Mom,who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The readings and music that were so reflective of your Mom, to the sweet note from Aunt Maggie, to Jenny's loving tribute from the three of you, felt like a warm embrace directly from Geri to each of us present. So many times today we heard the words smile, giggle, laughter and love when a favorite memory was being shared. Geri was all that and more... You GIRLS are her everything. I love you all.

My aunt Geri displayed, and kept, a sort of vibrant strength that never stopped, even in the face of trouble (or exhaustion!). And while I'm sure that often served her well, it was also a great boon to those around her . . . helping the rest of us get through bad times, or appreciate the great ones. She was irrepressible.
I saw her a lot when I was growing up, and I was fortunate for that.
I miss her.

Geri was an amazing lady. She raised three beautiful, strong, smart daughters who are so devoted, not only to their mom but to each other. Their support, love, and devotion to family would make any mother proud and honored to have left such a beautiful legacy. I will be eternally grateful for the opportunity to have known her. She will forever remain in my memories as she was, a warm, caring, and wise woman.

You were a wonderful sister Geri. You taught me my prayers, pulled me on my sled and let me sleep in your bed with you when I was scared. You taught me so many things...too many to mention and I thank God that we had each other. I will remember most, the times we were there for one another when times were rough, when we supported one another and came through it together. Like the summer of 1969 when you were pregnant with Jen and I was pregnant with Karen! You were so mad at me because I had Karen first. Thank you sweet Geri for 74 years of memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Dear Katie, Mary, Jennifer, Christine and Catherine,
My thoughts and prayers are with you daily. Your mother was one of the sweetest and kindest woman I have ever met. She was passionate about her family and a fierce protector of her girls. Her smile radiated joy and you could tell it came straight from her heart. I was blessed to have known her and to have her in my life. May you find comfort in the love you shared and know that she will always be walking with you from now until forever. xo Brenda
