Obituary of Daravong Rosas
Daravong was born June 21, 1985 in Dickinson, North Dakota, daughter of Bounthong Thongchampsy of Waterbury and Phouvieng (Chokbengboune) Beyer of New Milford. She was employed as a Life Skills Instructor at Ability Beyond Disability and enjoyed great food, cats and cat videos, traveling and experiencing everything with her husband.
Better known to her family and friends as Dala,Dara or LaLa. Her favorite vacation destination was Disney World, where her inner child ran free. Dara loved and cared deeply for her family and friends. She always found a way to make that special gift that would make that person’s day better. She brought light and laughter to everyone’s life.
In addition to her husband Gus and her parents, Daravong is survived by her step father: Craig Beyer of New Milford, her brother: Sawyer Beyer of New Milford, Her mother in law: Martha Rosas and her father in law: Luis Rosas of North Carolina, her sister in law: Claudia Rosas-Abella and her brother in law: Simon Abella of North Carolina.
Daravong’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home on 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
