Obituary of Evelyn Kaeser

Evelyn Kaeser January 01, 1925 - November 26, 2007 Evelyn (Miller) Kaeser, formerly of Brookfield, wife of the late Fred Kaeser, died peacefully at Harborside Glen Hill on Monday, November 26th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Danbury on January 1, 1925, daughter of the late Arthur and Eva May (Durbin) Miller. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, class of 1943. She married her beloved husband, Fred, on July 13, 1946, at St. James Church in Danbury. Mrs. Kaeser worked as a section leader for Barden Corporation for thirty years. Mrs. Kaeser enjoyed traveling, swimming, entertaining, gardening, crafts, handworks, cooking, dining out, bird watching, and always had pets. She enjoyed activities at the Brookfield Senior Center and volunteering at Meals on Wheels, and the Dorothy Day Hospitality House. Most importantly, she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Karen Provino and her husband, Carl of Danbury, Waynne Tomascak and her husband, Cyril, of New Milford, and Geraldine Ferris and her husband, Frank of Brookfield; her three grandchildren, Scott Provino and his wife, Lisa, Jaime and Christian Ferris; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard Miller; her sister, Gladys Hammer; and her half sister, Jennie Hughes. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held privately. Family and Friends are welcome to attend services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brookfield on Friday, November 30th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. The family would like to thank Harborside Glen Hill for all their loving care. Also a special thanks to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut for their care and compassion.
