Obituary of Donald E. Guth

Donald E. Guth June 30, 1925 - March 02, 2009 Donald E. Guth of Brookfield, Connecticut went home to be with the Lord March 2nd, 2009 at the age of 83. Mr. Guth was a WWII fighter pilot who was engaged in combat over Europe. After the war, Mr. Guth graduated from Duquesne University and in his career went on to hold various accounting and IT management positions. Mr. Guth also flew for the Air National Guard. Mr. Guth is survived by his wife, Geraldine, his daughters, Kimberly Granton of Sherman, Dawn Furniss of Brookfield, his sons, Jeffrey Guth and his wife Trudy of Wallingford, Eric Guth and his wife Sheryl of Dallas, Texas and Kurt Guth and his wife Ann of Brookfield, and his grandchildren Hannah Furniss, Taylor Guth and Quinn Guth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Guth was also predeceased by two brothers - his older brother Charles and his younger brother David. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 6th, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Brookfield. Calling hours will be on Thursday, March 5th, from 5 to 8 PM at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield.
