Louise M. Fusco
April 05, 1917 - August 07, 2010
Louise Marie (Leonard) Fusco, of New Milford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Louise was born in Danbury on April 5, 1917, the daughter of late Dominick and Angeline (Chesto) Octavio.
Louise graduated from Danbury High School in 1935. In 1954, she and her husband, Peter Michael Fusco, Sr., started P&G Sanitation. Nine years later, in April 1963, Peter Fusco, Sr. passed away and Louise was left to run P&G Sanitation. Louise ran P & G Sanitation up until the time she retired in 1981. At that time, she sold the business to her son, Peter Michael Fusco, Jr., and she retired in Port Charlotte, FL.
In June 2000, she moved back to CT to be closer to her children. Louise spent winters in Florida but always returned to CT each spring. Louise loved to work on crossword puzzles; she enjoyed music, music concerts, an occasional visit to the casinos and loved to travel as long as it was by automobile.
Louise is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Robert and Jacqueline (Nasif) Leonard of New Fairfield, William and Donna Leonard of New Milford, Anthony and Linda (Radeshi) Fusco of Brookfield, Keith and Barbara (Fusco) Radcliffe of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Peter Fusco of Danbury, Carl and Patricia (Fusco) Peterson of New Milford and Ben and Lisa (Carter) Fusco of Sandy Hook.
