Obituary of Paul M. Delinski

Paul M. Delinski December 24, 1952 - November 08, 2006 Paul M. Delinski, 53, of Mist Hill Drive, Brookfield, devoted husband of Kathie A. (Nelson) Delinski, died at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, November 8th. He was born in Stamford on December 24, 1952, son of the late John and Bea (Gartrell) Delinski. He was a graduate of Darien High School, Class of 1971. Paul worked as a plumbers apprentice for Sunburst Plumbing. He was the past owner and operator of Turning Point Antiques and Collectibles in Brookfield. He had also worked in Sales and Restoration for United Housewrecking in Stamford. Paul was a familiar presence at the Elephant's Trunk and the Woodbury Flea Market. He enjoyed fishing, landscaping and nature. He shared his love of music and generosity as a bass player for the band, "Second Childhood," playing many benefits to raise funds for local charities. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Kathie, and his three cherished children, Clayton, Nelson and Mallory Bea Delinski, all of Brookfield. He is also survived by his two brothers, Danny Delinski of Atlanta, Georgia, and Peter Delinski of Norwalk; as well as 13 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Delinski. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield on Saturday, November 11th at 1:00pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the direction of the family. Friends and family are invited to gather following Mass at 12 Stony Farm Lane in Brookfield. The Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, has been entrusted with arrangements.
