Edward Brown July 06, 1929 - November 01, 2006 Edward "Brownie" Brown, 77, of New Milford, beloved husband of Jean (Ginise) Brown, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 1st. Ed was born on July 6, 1929, in Greenwich, son of the late Edward and Catherine (Wagner) Brown. He was the founder of Brownies Flatbed Service. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Air Force. Besides his devoted wife of 57 years, Ed leaves his son, Todd Brown and wife Deb of Danbury, daughter Patty Epting of New Milford, son Robert Brown and fiancé Laurie Mastroianni of New Milford, daughter Marlene Reiske and husband Ron of Brookfield, sister Barbara Miles and husband Bob of Bethel, sister-in-law Barbara Morrell of Cos Cob and brother-in-law Cas Holowinko of Sherman. He also leaves his grandchildren, Gary P. Palinkas, Jr. and wife Tammi, Audrey Garrison and husband Edward, Tammie Epting, Jenny Wailbel and husband Robert, Todd Brown, Jr. and wife, Tammy, Scott Brown, RJ Reiske, Eddie Reiske, Robert Brown, Jr., Jeanne Brown, Paul John Brown, Joey Campbell, Jeremy Wallace, Thomas Epting, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Henry Brown, sister Dorothy Holowinko and his son-in-law, Tom Epting. Funeral Information The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich.
