Alan Fredric Brink October 19, 1952 - May 17, 2009 Alan Fredric Brink, age 56, of Danbury passed away at his home on Sunday, May 17th after being diagnosed with cancer only a few weeks ago. Al was born in Norwalk CT , son of Clinton G. Brink and the late Marie D. Brink. Al always enjoyed motorcycle and car racing. He raced Quarter Midgets from ages 7 - 14. Spending a month in Switzerland learning the manufacturing process for a new product was one of Al's great adventures. Most recently, he worked as a Construction Inspector for Special Testing Laboratories of Bethel, a job he really enjoyed because he was able to be outside. His hobbies included keeping tropical fish, radio control cars and planes, playing softball in the Sunday League at Roger's Park for Kanthal Corp, and the Bethel Businessman's League for Special Testing Labs. He enjoyed computers, was an accomplished guitarist, banjo and dobro player and a big fan of the Yankees.
