Obituary of Dominic M. Bonacci

Dominic M. Bonacci Sr. April 22, 1918 - October 22, 2005 Dominic M. Bonacci, Sr., age 87, formerly of Park Lawn Drive, Bethel, husband of the late Shirley (Peck) Bonacci, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2005. He was born in Kennelworth, Utah on April 22, 1918, son of the late Joseph and Rose (Scalzo) Bonacci. Mr. Bonacci was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. He worked as an automotive mechanic for Frank Kovacs Texaco Automotive for more than fifteen years. He was a parishioner of St. Peter Church in Danbury and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Michael Bonacci and his wife, Virginia of Bethel, and Dominic M. Bonacci, Jr. and his wife, Margaret of New Fairfield; his six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Bonacci of Danbury; his sister Marylou Pasquarella of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Bonacci. Funeral Information The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 from the Cornell Memorial Home at 9:00am to St. Peter's Church for a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Tuesday between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 pm.
