Obituary of Catherine M. Sendewicz

Catherine M. Sendewicz July 01, 1937 - November 19, 2008 Catherine M. (Richichi) Sendewicz, 71, of Upper Kent Hollow Road, Kent, wife of the late Edward S. Sendewicz, died on Wednesday, November 19th at New Milford Hospital. She was born on July 1, 1937, daughter of the late Bernardo and Mary (Domain) Richichi. Mrs. Sendewicz was a nurse at Ashlar of Newtown for more than 12 years. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the casino. She will be sadly missed by her three children, Teresa Tuz and her husband, Charles of Kent, Thomas Sendewicz of Fort Meyers, Fl, and Anastasia "Stacey" Tracy and her partner, Dan Furtado, of Bethel; and her seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Mary Jo Emmons of East Hampton, and Patricia Lamphier of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 24th at 9:30am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday afternoon between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00pm.
