Obituary of Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth Scott June 10, 1923 - May 22, 2005 Elizabeth B. Scott died at Bridgeport Hospital on May 22, 2005 at the age of 81. Mrs. Scott was the wife of the late Quentin D. Scott and lived on East View Road in New Fairfield. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 10, 1923, daughter of the late Edwin and Marion Pelton Seeley. Mrs. Scott was the manager of the Danbury Hospital Gift Shop for 25 years and saw its growth from the push cart from floor to floor to the enterprise it is today. Among her many involvements, she was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church of Danbury, A Daughter of the American Revolution, a member of the Eastern Star, the AARP in Bethel, Ct, Honorary Senior State President of the Connecticut Children of the American Revolution. She also was currently serving on the Scott Fanton Danbury Historical Society Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Church Women United, and the Helping Hands of the Unite Methodist Church. Mrs. Scott is survived by her son Lee Scott and his wife Rose Mary of New Milford, and her daughters Marilyn Radder and her husband Jon of New Fairfield, and Elizabeth Byron of New Milford. 8 grandchildren: Charles, Theresa and Margaret Scott, Aaron and J. Matthew Radder, and Jeanette and Dominic Byron and Melanie Dacila. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 6pm with the Rev. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield, Ohio, on Saturday May 28, 2005. Friends may call the Cornell Memorial Home Inc., on Wednesday, May 25, between the hours of 4 to 7 pm.
