Alonzo Jayv Scott, 4 month old son of Ophelia F. Scott of Danbury and Henry Heirring, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY died on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Westchester Medical Center.
Alonzo was born on February 8, 2005 in Westchester. He fought valiantly for his life for over four months.
Besides his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers: Jahki Scott and Massiah Thompson; a sister: Angel Scott all of Danbury; maternal grandparents; Alonzo Scott and Minnie Bland of Danbury and Gloria Edwards of Bedford, NY; and paternal grandparents: Dianna Ancrum and Henry Heirring, Sr. of Brooklyn, NY; and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church at a later date.
