Obituary of Pauline Bochnewich

Pauline Bochnewich April 01, 1929 - December 03, 2010 Pauline Bochnewich, 81, formerly of Brookfield, wife of the late Paul Bochnewich, died in Palm Desert, CA on December 3rd. She was born in Yonkers, NY on April 1, 1929, daughter of the late Konstantin and Anastazia (Swoboda) Sawastiuk. Pauline graduated from Hastings on Hudson High School in Hastings, N.Y. She was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. Mrs. Bochnewich was a devoted wife and mother who devoted herself to raising her family. She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Mark Bochnewich and his wife, Ellen of Coventry, Peter Bochnewich and his wife Lucina of Palm Desert, CA and Paul Bochnewich and his wife, Deborah of Danbury; her eight grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Anastasia, Loralee, Casey, Lindsay, Krystale, Michelle and several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 14th at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers, NY. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00pm.
