Obituary of Ellen Diane Boccuzzi

Ellen Diane Boccuzzi July 15, 1940 - January 18, 2008 Mrs. Ellen Diane Boccuzzi, age 67, of Danbury, beloved wife of Robert F. Boccuzzi, passed away on Friday, January 18th at Danbury Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1940, daughter of the late Alexander and Helen (Rotko) Skirpan. Originally from Stamford, Diane and Bob moved to Danbury in 1968 where they have lived ever since. Diane worked as a supervisor in the dietary department at Mediplex in Danbury. Years later, she enjoyed cooking and baking for others, and spending many hours in her beautiful garden. She will always be remembered for her infectious enthusiasm, laughter and compassion for others. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son, Robert A. Boccuzzi and his wife, Wendy, her two daughters, Lori Rozanski and her husband, Tom, and Denise Fuda and her husband Victor. In addition, she is loved and missed by her five grandchildren, Amanda Scott, Danielle Sniffin, Alison Scott, Bobby Boccuzzi and Victor Fuda. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, January 23rd at 1:00pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm.
