Acacio Serrano Rubio, 76, of West Wooster Manor, husband of Candelaria Rubio, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, May 2nd. He was born in Mexico on May 8, 1928.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Danbury. He was self employed in construction.
In addition to his wife, Candelaria, he is survived by his three sons, Jesus Rubio of Chandler, Az, Jose Trinidad Rubio of Phoenix, Az., and Ignacio Rubio of Pheonix, Az; his daughter Ana Maria Rubio of Danbury. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 5th, 10:00am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, May 4th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm.
