Obituary of James Edward Blecher

James Edward Blecher November 19, 1953 - September 06, 2006 James E. Blecher, 52, of Eastview Road, Brookfield, died at his home on Wednesday, September 6th. He was born in Brooklyn, NY., on November 19, 1955, son of Patricia Curran of Princeton, New Jersey, and the late Fred Blecher. Mr. Blecher worked in sales and marketing for IBM in White Plains and Danbury for more than 20 years. He was currently working as a sales representative for Bob Sharp Nissan in Danbury. He was well known for his outstanding ability to do impersonations. He loved boating, the beach, and going to Broadway Shows. His sense of humor and love of music will live in the hearts of his loved ones forever. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Lauren and Brittany Blecher, both of Brookfield; his stepdaughter, Heather Hauck of Brookfield; his brother, Fredrick Blecher of Stamford; and his five sisters, Barbara Keiser of Madison, Patricia DiMugno of Kensington, Cathy Berger of Lebanon, NJ., Joanne Dimm of Ridgefield, and June Pecora of Princeton, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home on Saturday, September 9th at 2:00pm with Rev. David Buchanan of the Congregational Church of Brookfield officiating. Cremation and interment will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00pm.
