Shirley Ruth Ann (Pierce) Repko, 80, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Repko, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 4th. She was born in Danbury on November 17, 1930, daughter of the late Nelson and Catherine (Keating) Pierce. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1948.
Shirley was devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church and past member of the Ladies Guild. She loved to play tennis and golf.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Robert K. Repko of Danbury; her daughter, Ruth Ann Ayers and her husband, Rufus of Newtown; her four grandchildren, Robert C. Repko, Ashleigh L. Repko, Joshua D. Coughlin and his wife, Jenn, and Daniel R. Coughlin. She is also survived by her caretaker and dear friend, Goodness Sibiya; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Gulya. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00am. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00am. Donations Information
