Obituary of Concetta E. Rajcok

Concetta E. Rajcok October 15, 1914 - October 10, 2006 Concetta E. (Novaco) Rajcok, of Brickham Way, Burlington, wife of the late Martin J. Rajcok, Sr., died on Tuesday, October 10th in Torrington. She was born in Danbury on October 15, 1914, daughter of the late James V. and Lina (Gabriele) Novaco. She was a graduate of St. Peter School and Danbury High School, Class of 1934. Mrs. Rajcok was life long member of the Danbury Community until she moved to Harwinton in 1987 and finally making her home in Burlington in 2005 She was a Hospital Ward Secretary for the ICU at Danbury Hospital. She was a past president Venerable for more than 20 years of the Colonna Lodge #184 and was a member for more than seventy years. She was very active in the community, serving with the Harwinton Housing Authority and the Commission on Aging. She was also a member of the Harwinton Sundowners and Senior Center Volunteer. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church, Collinsville. She will be sadly missed by her son, Martin J. Rajcok, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Bethlehem; her daughter, Susan M. Phaneuf and her husband Vincent of Burlington; and her four grandchildren, Martin III and Brian Rajcok, Valerie (Phaneuf) Howe, and Kristen (Phaneuf) Pettinicchi; and her great granddaughter, Jordan Howe. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Rupolo of Florida. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Vincent Novaco and her sister, Rosalie LeRose. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, Danbury on Friday, October 13th at 9:30am. Entombment in the Mausoleum at St. Peter Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 4 and 7pm.
