Obituary of Julia H. Piskura

Julia H. Piskura March 07, 2006 Julia H. Piskura of Pinehurst, NC., formerly of New Fairfield, died Tuesday, March 7th at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. She was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Inatz Dominauckus and Annelia (Whacthakawkitus. She was widow to the late Joseph S. Piskura. She retired from American Cyanimid Co. in Danbury and was currently a resident of St. Joseph of the Pines in Pinehurst, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Jolene Zaborowski and her husband, Joseph of Pinehurst, NC; a brother, Albert Dominauckus; and two sisters, Catherine Kachur and Frances Scalzo, all of Danbury. She is also survived by one stepgrandchild and two step great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph and her sister, Rose Dominauckus. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am, Wednesday, March 15th at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
