Dorothy Moschetta
June 12, 1930 - October 30, 2015
Dorothy Moschetta, 85, of Brookfield, wife of the late Salvatore Moschetta, died on Friday, October 30th at Filosa in Danbury. She was born on June 12, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Thomson) Essenson.
Dorothy was a resident of Brookfield for 17 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved watching sports, especially the NY Mets and Yankees. Most importantly, she loved her family.
She will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Edith Williams of Brookfield, Virginia Tomlinson of Virginia and by local family, Elise Miller (George), Lindsay Hayduk, John Hayduk and Tyler Buttendorf. She is also survived by four nieces, Margaret Pinchok, Dorothy Zelnick, Maureen Poynton, Kathy; and nephew Paul Essenson, as well as many great nephews and nieces.
Dorothy is predeceased by her daughter, Anne L. Ferrante, brother, Charles Essenson, and sister, Hazel Dougherty. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 4th at 11:30am at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd, Brookfield. Burial will follow immediately in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla NY.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday before the service at the funeral home between the hours of 10:30 - 11:30am. Donations Information
