Obituary of Mary Catherine Morgan

Mary Catherine Morgan August 21, 1910 - February 19, 2005 Mary Catherine Morgan, 94, of Bel Air Drive, Danbury, wife of the late Daniel Morgan, died at Pope John Paul Center for Health Care, on Saturday, February 19th. She was born in County Armagh, Ireland on August 21, 1910, daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah (Haughey) Harte. She moved to the United States in 1925. Mrs. Morgan worked as a waitress for the New York Times Executive Dining Room. She was a member of the New York Newspaper Guild, and the Putnam Lake Senior Citizens Club. She was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. She will be sadly missed by her son, Patrick Morgan and his wife, Anne of Brookfield; her six grandchildren, Mary Mitchell and her husband, Ryan, Karen Morgan, Erin Gerstbrein and her husband Kevin, Noreen Savignano and her husband Joe, Major Daniel Radulski, USAF and his wife, Tara, Capt. Neil Radulski, USAF, and his wife, Stacey; as well as three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Radulski. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 22, 2005 at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, February 21st between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm.
