Obituary of Emily M. Mello

Emily M. Mello November 06, 1921 - May 20, 2005 Emily Mary Mello, age 83, of Danbury, died on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Bethel Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Mary (LeRose) Mello. A lifelong resident of Danbury, Ms. Mello worked as a cutter for the New England Shirt Co. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Danbury. She is survived by her nieces: Mariann Dwyer of New Fairfield and Ann-Lucille Jarrel of Texas and several nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by a sister: Rose Carino, 2 brothers: George P. Mello and Frank Melle; and a nephew: George Mello. Funeral Information A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury with Fr. John Pikulski of St. Joseph Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:00.
