Bertha M. McNerney, 91, of Long Meadow Hill Road, Brookfield, wife of the late Clifford McNerney, died on Thursday, February 11th at New Milford Nursing Home. She was born in Cornwall on March 11, 1912, daughter of the late William and Daisy (Hart) Lee.
Mrs. McNerney made her home in Brookfield in 1973. She was employed as an assembler for Eagle Pencil Co. in Danbury. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Dennis J. McNerney and his wife Sandra of Brookfield; two cherished granddaughters, Donna L. and Jennifer McNerney, both of Danbury. She is also survived by one nephew, Kenny Lee of Danbury. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna L. McNerney. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14th at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Friday, February 13th between the hours of 6 and 8pm. Donations Information
