Obituary of Anne H. McGrath

Anne H. McGrath August 29, 1925 - August 16, 2007 Anne H. (Herbermann) McGrath, of Brookside Trail, New Milford, beloved wife of Frank J. McGrath, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, August 16th. She was born in Mount Vernon, New York on August 29, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Pimm) Herbermann. She was a graduate of Manhattanville College, class of 1947. Mrs. McGrath was a teacher in private schools in Venezuela. She was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. She was a member of Candlewood Lake Club. In addition to her beloved husband, Frank, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Frank J. McGrath, Jr and his wife, Catherine of Wellesley, MA, and John P. McGrath and his wife, Ann of Bethlehem, PA; his three daughters, Nancy McGrath of Framingham, MA, Susan Blyde of Stoneham, MA, and Amy Manetta and her husband, Damon of Billerica, MA; her thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Herbermann of Greenwich; her sister, Ada Mudd of New Jersey. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 18th at 11:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. Friends may call at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Friday, August 17th between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm.
