Obituary of Frederick H. Kelsey

Frederick H. Kelsey Sr. November 18, 1939 - January 19, 2008 Frederick H. Kelsey, Sr. formerly of New Milford, husband of Ruth A. (Blackman) Kelsey, died at his home in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, on Saturday, January 19th. He was born in Middletown on November 18, 1939, son of the late David and Barbara (Champion) Kelsey. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1957. Mr. Kelsey worked as a mechanic for Kimberly Clark in New Milford. He was a past member of the New Milford Congregational Church and a current member of Union Congregational Church in Florida. In addition to his wife of 34 years, Ruth, he is survived by two sons, Frederick, Jr and his wife, Marcy of Milford, Mark and his wife, Lisa of Wasilla, Alaska; two daughters, Julie Phiefer and her husband, Tim of Concord, NH, and Laurie Biestek and her husband, William of Middletown; two stepdaughters, Susan Revell and her husband, George of Danbury and Leslie Starr of Monroe. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, January 26th at 11:00am. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Brookfield in the spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between 10:00 and 11:00am on Saturday morning.
