Obituary of Linda Marie Krapf

New Fairfield – Mrs. Linda Marie (Lubrano) Krapf, age 75, of New Fairfield passed away peacefully on Sunday October 29,2023. She was the wife of Francis G. Krapf.

Mrs. Krapf was born February 15, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York daughter of the late Alberto and Assunta (Caramico) Lubrano. She was retired after working as an English teacher for 22 years at New Fairfield Middle School and was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. She enjoyed traveling and reading and most of all, being a Grandmother.

In addition to her husband Francis, Mrs. Krapf is survived by her sons: Brian Francis Krapf and his wife Anne Webb of Hastings on the Hudson, NY and Eric Michael Krapf and his wife Sinde of Hastings on the Hudson, NY, her sister: Andrea Mayfield and her husband Raymond of Bismarck, MO, her grandchildren: Frank, Penelope, Paul, Nathan and Alex and her niece: Xochitl Gonzalez of Brooklyn, NY.

Mrs. Krapf’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday November 2, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Relatives and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mountainview Cemetery in New Fairfield.
