Obituary of Bruce A. Jackson

Bruce A. Jackson September 09, 1956 - June 08, 2010 Bruce Alan Jackson, age 53, of Danbury died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, June 08, 2010 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Valerie (Damici) Jackson and father of Daniel and Matthew Jackson. Bruce was born in Battle Creek, MI on September 9, 1956, a son of William L. and Janet I. Jackson. He was a graduate of Stamford High School and the Chester Institute and worked as a process piping designer at Lockwood Greene Engineers in New York City for many years. A courageous man with a big heart, he was willing to help anyone. He always kept his sense of humor and positive attitude. In addition to his wife, sons, and parents he is survived by his two brothers: Charles Jackson and his wife Mary of Southbury and Edward Jackson and his wife Carol of New York City; his devoted father and mother-in-law Armando and Jane Damici of Bethel; three brothers-in-law: Gregory Damici of Bethel, Dennis Damici of Sandy, OR, Andrew Damici and his wife, Megan of Vail, CO and a sister-in-law: Mary Damici of Morristown, NJ, four nephews and one niece. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law: Kevin Damici. Funeral Information A Memorial Service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury is assisting the family.
