Obituary of Christine Gallo

Christine Gallo, age 61, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Danbury Hospital after a long illness.

 

Christine was born May 7, 1960 in Danbury daughter of Pat Gallo of Hornell, N.Y. and Helen (Hart) Gallo of Danbury.

 

Christine worked many years at National Semi-Conductor and most recently at Stop and Shop in Danbury.  She had a long and courageous fight with cancer and COPD but held onto her strong religious beliefs with family guiding her through the most difficult last few months.  She had a love of politics, was an avid reader and enjoyed her favorite TV show East Enders.  She was the special Aunt who spoiled all her nieces and nephews at every opportunity and was always the voice of reason and wisdom when needed. She was the big sister and daughter that was always there without question, she dedicated her life to her family and will be forever loved and missed deeply by all. 

 

In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her sisters: Lisa Rosato and her husband Joseph of Naugatuck and Karen Haddad and her husband Conrad of Danbury and her nieces and nephews: Jessica Pacific, Conrad Haddad, Anthony Rosato, Nicole Rosato and Aurora Flanagan. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Gallo who passed away February 6, 2021.

 

Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
