Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Oricchio

Ridgefield – Mrs. Joan E. (Meier) Oricchio, age 83, of Ridgefield, died Friday March 19, 2021 at Laurel Ridge in Ridgefield. She was the widow of Joseph Anthony Oricchio, Sr.

Mrs. Oricchio was born March 23, 1937 in New York, N.Y. daughter of the late Victor and Gertrude Meier. She was retired after working as an administrative assistant at IBM and for the New York State Department of Corrections . Mrs. Oricchio is survived by her children: Joseph Oricchio and his wife Cheryl of Maryland, William Oricchio and his wife Susan of New York, and Joni Lowe and her husband Robert of Brookfield, her sister: Wendy Malmid and her husband Stuart and her grandchildren: Anthony, Elizabeth, Melissa, Sarah, Stephanie, Sequoia and Daisy.

Private funeral services and burial in Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt, New York will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
