Obituary of Robert Douglas Montesi

Brookfield – Mr. Robert D. Montesi, age 60, of Brookfield, passed away

unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Friday January 1, 2021.

He was the devoted husband of the late Mary Beth Lee.

Rob was born July 26, 1960 in New York City son of Louann (Hardy)

Montesi and the late Robert Montesi of Ridgefield . He was employed by EMCOR

where he worked as an IT Director for over 20 years. He loved animals, most especially

his golden retrievers Beamer and Dioggi. He also enjoyed sailing, fishing, woodworking,

and bee keeping.

In addition to his Mother, Rob is survived by his brother Mark Montesi

and his partner Valentina Kravtsova of Amenia, New York, his sister

Andrea Tantillo and her husband Denis of Bristol, also his nephews Andrew

Tantillo and his wife Crystal and Brian Tantillo and his wife Megan.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Mr. Montesi’s funeral services will be private.

The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury is in charge of

arrangements.
