Obituary of Gael Beardslee

Danbury – Gael H. Beardslee died October 15^th at Danbury Hospital. Born in 1941 to the late William Whitman Hammond and Catharine Stevens Hammond of Stamford, CT. She was Predeceased by a son in 1995. Survived by her daughter, son in law, and a granddaughter. A graveside service will be held 11/7/2020 in Gerow cemetery, New Fairfield at 1:30 PM.

Gael was lovingly known as ‘Millie’ by those who knew her best. She lived in New Fairfield for many years where she raised her children as a single mother. Millie worked and retired from the state of Connecticut Department of Social Services in Danbury. She was taught to crochet at an early age by her grandmother and carried that passion throughout her life. She enjoyed reading, crafting, puzzles, and family genealogy.
