I was very saddened and shocked to hear of Sr Celine’s death. We kept in regular contact and I enjoyed her uplifting letters. The last letter I received was in November 2018 where she told me about her health issues. I will always remember her as a funny and warm-hearted person who was interested in how my family were getting on. We have lots of fond memories of her visits to Ireland and I will miss her. Maura Walsh (nee Corcoran), Co.Mayo. Ireland. (Sr Celine’s cousin).

Sister Celine was a wonderful friend and support to our family especially during hardship. She wrote us countless letters of encouragement and she never let us give up. She was a leader and had profound Godly wisdom particularly in difficult times. We will miss her very much!

Sister Celine and my mother met many years ago when they both worked in an office together. She became a cherished member of our family spending many holidays and summer vacations with us. She had that great Irish wit and the smile to go with it. She is missed so very much.

Sister Celine congratulating our daughter, Elizabeth, on her First Communion in 2008.Her smile always radiated the warmth and love she felt in her heart for each and every child. Her advice, was unlike no other and no one can hold a candle to what she did for others, but we can try to help others in her name.

Sr Celine taught my children at St Michael's, she was always beautifully centered, ready to encourage all with her gentle demeanor, yet ever ready with her twinkling humor. A marvelous encouraging force for me as a young mother. She will be missed.
