Obituary of Marcel L. Belanger
Marcel L. Belanger, 49, of New Fairfield, died on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home. He was born in Danbury on July 31, 1969, beloved son of Andre and Nicole (Daudelin) Belanger.
Marcel was self employed in construction, locally, for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, loved dodge trucks and recently discovered a love for camping. He was a hard worker who enjoyed visiting with friends after a long day or relaxing with his faithful dog, Montana.
In addition to his parents, Andre and Nicole, he will be sadly missed by his companion Tara Munsen and her son Dominic; his brother Roger Belanger; his sister Linda Badala and her husband Billy, his nieces and nephews, Kaycee and William Badala, and Colin and Tyler Belanger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 24th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23rd between the hours of 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St, Danbury.
