Obituary of Siegfried G. Ehrhardt

Siegfried "Fritz" Ehrhardt, 85, of Brookfield, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, November 6, 2017.  He was born in Montclair, New Jersey on March 29, 1932, son of the late Herbert and Pia (Lescher) Ehrhardt.  He worked as a flight attendant for Pan Am, retiring as head steward.

Fritz was a devoted parishioner of St Joseph Church in Brookfield for many years.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and practical jokes.  He loved horses and in his younger years enjoyed skiing and sailing. 

He will be sadly missed by his second family, Elliott Schabses and Patricia Pudelka; and many dear friends and neighbors. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 9th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, New Milford. 

Visitation will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Wednesday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm. 

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
