Obituary of Jordan M. Turkenkopf
Jordan M. Turkenkopf, 32, of Uncasville, formerly of Brookfield, died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 31st. He was born in Morristown, NJ, on May 11, 1984, beloved son of Thomas and Margaret (Lawrence) Turkenkopf of Wimauma, FL.
He was a graduate of Brookfield High School Class of 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University. He worked for several years for the Vanguard Group in PA.
Jordan was known as “J Wheels” by his many dear friends. He loved music, concerts, and his jam band friends.
Most importantly, Jordan was always an inspiration to his family and friends. He was courageous and determined to live his life to the fullest, despite what fate dealt him. We know in our hearts that Jordan is now running, walking and singing.
In addition to his parents, Tom and Marge, he will be missed by his two brothers, Daniel and Drew.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, November 6th between the hours of 2:00 and 3:30pm. A Celebration of Jordan’s Life will begin at 3:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 1952 Whitney Avenue, #210, Hamden, CT 06517. https://www.mda.org/office/connecticut
