Obituary of Anthony Iannone
Anthony Iannone, 93, of Brookfield, beloved husband of the late Angeline (Caiafa) Iannone, died peacefully at Regional Hospice and Homecare on Sunday, January 3rd. He was born in New Haven on July 22, 1922, the eldest of eight children of the late Angelo and Mary (Dilella) Iannone.
Anthony was a Veteran of World War II, proudly serving in Pearl Harbor with the United States Navy. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #1042 in Danbury.

He adored his wife, Angeline, his children and grandchildren. He loved to garden and took pride in his yard.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Anthony A. Iannone and his fiancé, Sharon of Norwalk, and Stephen T. Iannone and his wife, Jennifer of Fairfield; his two daughters, Frances M. Westgate and her husband, Michael of New Milford, and Catherine A. Iannone with whom he made his home in Brookfield; his two granddaughters, Stephanie and Danielle Iannone; his two brothers, Angelo and his wife, Linda, and Thomas Iannone; his sisters, Marion Vinci and Connie Sarno and her husband, Bob; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Peter and sisters, Theresa and Grace.
