Rose (Palermo) Italiano of Heritage Village, Southbury, passed
peacefully on November 23, 2010 at Glen Hill Health Care in Danbury.
She was the wife of the late Armand Mario Italiano; at the time of his
passing, they had been married for 63 years.
She was born in the Bronx, NY on April 4, 1921, a daughter of the late
Salvatore and Emma (D'Auria) Palermo. She was a retired employee of
New York Telephone in the Bronx.
Mrs. Italiano is survived by a daughter: Marie Narowski and her husband
Peter of Danbury; 2 grandchildren: Keri and Eric Narowski of Danbury.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers: Edward and Robert Palermo; and 2
sisters: Anna Rosa and Phyllis Giordano. Funeral Information
A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 2:00pm at
the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. Interment in St.
Peter's Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends on
Friday from 12:00 until 2:00. Donations Information
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's honor to the following:
Alzheimer's Foundation, Dementia Care, Heart Assoc. or Diabetes Assoc.
Rose's family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at
Maplewood in Newtown and Glen Hill in Danbury for their loving care.
