Anthony Iapaluccio
July 19, 1932 - January 11, 2011
Anthony Iapaluccio of Danbury passed away on January 11, 2011 at the age of 78 .
Anthony was born July 19, 1932 in Danbury, CT the son of the late Michael and
Jenny Iapaluccio.
He served in the Korean War for 3years as a Corporal, Squad Leader, with the Air Bourne Rangers Division. Upon returning from the service he became a Barber and owned his own barber shop for many years in the Danbury area. He was an active member of the Amergio Vespucci Lodge and served as President of the for 3 years. He was also an active member in the American Legion, Catholic War Veterans, Lebanese Club and the Moose Lodge.
Anthony was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Carmen & Nicholas. He is survived by his children Mark Iapaluccio of Las Vegas, NV, Gregory and Barbara Iapaluccio of Brookfield and Theresa and Simon Lunt of Cary, NC. ; Grandchildren, Brittany and Brooke Iapaluccio, Gregory Iapaluccio, Elli and Carter Lunt. Friends may greet his family at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Stret, Danbury, on Monday, January 17th from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Donations Information
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Danbury Hospital Dialysis Fund in memory of Anthony.
