Richard W. Heuser Jr.
April 22, 1925 - April 26, 2011
Richard W. Heuser, Jr., 86, of Danbury, husband of the late Dorothy Heuser, died at his home on Tuesday, April 26th. He was born in Danbury on April 22, 1925, son of the late Richard Sr and Millie (Neff) Heuser.
Mr. Heuser was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy. He worked as a pipe fitter for the Local Union 777, retiring after 42 years. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Rick Heuser of Danbury and his brother, Homer Heuser of Boynton Beach, FL. He is also survived by many loving in-laws in Texas.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Joseph; his brother, Joe; and his two sisters, Helen and Evelyn. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm. Donations Information
