Obituary of Marylou Hebert

Marylou (Fox) Hebert August 11, 1947 - November 14, 2004 Marylou (Fox) Hebert, 57, of Mohawk Trail, Redding, cherished wife of Gerald "Jerry" Hebert, died in the presence of her family, at Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, November 14th. She was born in Danbury on August 11, 1947, daughter of the late Llewellyn and Harriet (Chapman) Fox. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1965, and was a member of the Theta Iota Sorority as well as the cheerleading squad. Marylou was a Medical Secretary at Danbury Hospital for twenty-five years, retiring in 1995. During her employment at the hospital she was secretary for Dr. Jack Orr from 1972 until 1886. For a short time she managed the women's health club for General Dynamics in San Diego, CA. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield, loved to spend time gardening and doing yoga. She was a kind, giving, friendly, and happy go lucky person who loved to play practical jokes and make others laugh. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her devoted husband of 36 years, Jerry, she is survived by her loving daughters, Aly Irizarry and her husband, Marcus of Danbury and Suzanne Hebert of Bethel; her grandson, Christian Irizarry of Danbury; and her sister, Carol Fox of El Cajon, CA. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Congregational Church of Brookfield on Thursday, November 18th at 10:30am. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, November 17th between the hours of 5 and 8:00pm.
