Maryanne H. Gardner, 73, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, August 7th at Hancock Hall. She was born January 18, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Harold and Ann (Czuba) Gardner.
Maryanne worked for New York Life Insurance 39 years and retired as a Director. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed gardening and traveling with her friends Roseann and Pat. Maryanne loved all animals, especially her cats, and volunteered for the New Milford Animal Shelter for many years. She was a Mets fan and enjoyed attending the Congregational Church of Brookfield with her friend Pat.
She will be deeply missed by her dear friends, Roseann McCutcheon, Patricia Roehling and Joan Meredith; her Godson, Peter Beninati and his wife Bernadette; her cousins, John Beninati and his wife Pat, Patricia Graff and her husband Michael as well as many beloved cousins and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, August 9th at St. Marguerite Bougeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Rd., Brookfield.
Family and friends will be received from 9:30 to 10 :30 AM on Friday, August 9th at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield. Donations Information
Memorial donations may be made in her name to a charity of one's choice.
