Anna Fusek, age 89, died peacefully at the Danbury Hospital on June 19, 2005, with her loving family by her side. Anna was born in Danbury on October 18, 1915, daughter of John Fusek Sr. and Anna Holick Fusek. She was educated in Danbury and worked as a machine operator for Harvey Hubble in Bridgeport, Connecticut for over 40 years.
Anna was a devoted active and lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Danbury, and past member of the Sokol Lodge #51W, and past member of the Moose Lodge in Danbury.
She is survived by her loving siblings; Steven (Betty), Edward Sr. (Jean), and Paul Sr. (Mary Sue), all of Danbury. Emil (Jacqueline) of West Redding. Mildred Garvey and Ruth Locke, both of Bethel. Mildred Fusek, Alice Jurenka, and Irene Fusek, all of Danbury. She was the devoted Aunt to many nephews and nieces, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. Sister-in-law to Chris Fusek, of Danbury. She was predeceased by her brother John Fusek Jr., and her sister Elizabeth Duda. Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Calling hours will take place between the hours of 5 and 8 pm on Wednesday, June 22, at the Cornell memorial Home on White Street. Donations Information
