Obituary of Vivian Thelma Cavagna

Vivian Thelma (Johnson) Cavagna December 18, 1919 - May 07, 2004 Vivian Thelma (Johnson) Cavagna passed away peacefully at Filosa Convalescent Home on May 7, 2004. She was born December 18, 1919 in Danbury, daughter of the late Anton and Glaydes (Bame) Johnson. Vivian received her education in Danbury. In 1936 she married Frank Cavagna. She owned and operated the Community Store on Beaver Brook Rd. for many years. Later working at Kimberly Clark, Mideastern Envelope and The New York Bake Shop. For thirty years she was also active in real estate. Purchasing multifamily homes, rentals and selling of the same. Retiring in 1984, Vivian enjoyed taking care of her flowers and helping other people. Survivors include her three sons, Frank L. and his wife, Linda of Sandy Hook, David W. and his wife, Nancy of Newtown and Charles R. and his wife Beth of Bethel; and one daughter, Sharon L. (Johnson) Musbek and her husband, William. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Susan Archiere , Laura Cavagna, Wendy Dillon, Jeffrey Cavagna, Michael Cavagna, Robyn Cavagna, Andrea Cavagna, Wayne Johnson, Barbara Silva, and David Johnson; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Vivian was predeceased by one brother, Frank Johnson, her husband, Frank Cavagna, and one son, Anthony J. Cavagna. Funeral Information Private Services will be held at St. Peter Cemetery. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
