Rose M. (Cusano) Capozza, 99, of Melrose Ave, Danbury, wife of the late Joseph Capozza, died at Masonic Health Center of Wallingford on Friday, November 26th. She was born in Yonkers, NY on March 27, 1911, daughter of the late William and Caroline (Capozza) Cusano.
Alongside her husband, Joseph, she owned and operated City Ice and Coal in Danbury. She devoted her life to her family.
Rose will be sadly missed by her daughter, Frances Emanuele and her husband, Albert of Danbury; her son, Vincent Capozza and his wife, Joan of New Mexico; her three grandchildren, Rosemarie Miller and her husband Paul of Ohio, Mary Ann Best and her husband, Mark of New Mexico, and Joann Robinson and her husband Alfonso Jr. of Danbury; and her two great granddaughters, Sararose Miller and Lauryn Robinson. She is also survived by her special Aunt Dee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30th at 10:30am at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Tuesday morning between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00am. Donations Information
