Mary E. Andrews, 63, of Maple Avenue Extension, Bethel, wife of Thomas Andrews and the late James Eaton died on Thursday, January 6th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport on February 27, 1941, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Spowage) Edwards. She was a graduate of Staples High School in Westport.
Mrs. Andrews was married to James Eaton on August 7, 1957 and the two were happily married until his passing in 1996. She worked as a marketing supervisor for MBI in Norwalk for seventeen years.
On October 15, 2000, she married Thomas Andrews, and the two made their home in Bethel.
Mrs. Andrews was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading and entertaining.
She will be remembered for the loving and caring person that she was.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her children, James Eaton, Jr. and his wife, Robin of Norwalk, Elizabeth Eaton of Charlotte, NC.; and Thomas' children, Joseph Andrews of Danbury, William Andrews of Danbury and Barbara Andrews of Bethel, and Joan Lea Andrews-Chesanek of Thomaston; her grandchildren, James W. Eaton, III, Megan Eaton, Derek, Ashlea and Blake Andrews, Matthew, Kyle, Jacob and Olivia Andrews, Noralea Joan Chesanek, and Patrick Thomas Chesanek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, January 11th at 7:00pm. Pastor Walt Harper of Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery will be private.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening between the hours of 4 and 7:00pm. Donations Information
