Obituary of Fay Suit Wong

Fay Suit Wong October 25, 1929 - July 04, 2011 Fay Suit Wong Fay Suit Wong, 81, of New Fairfield and wife of the late Mon S. Wong, died Monday, July 4th at her home. Fay was born October 25, 1929 in Kantong, China. She was the daughter of the late Wah Lee and Chan Yuk Chan. Fay moved to the United States in 1948 where she owned and operated Ying Wah Laundromat for 40 years. For 15 years she worked in the circulation department of the Danbury News-Times. Fay was an active donator to local charity, and loved bingo and she enjoyed time with her family and friends. She was very proud of her family. Fay enjoyed sharing her personal accomplishments and stories of her life and often expressed that she had a happy life and had no regrets. She wanted her memory to be a happy one. Fay is survived by seven grandchildren; Bruce MacIntyre and his wife Melissa, Mon MacIntyre and his wife Jennifer, Sasha Barata and her husband Joseph, with whom Fay made her home, Elaine Infantolino and her husband Christian, Ann Marie Wong, Daniel Wong, Michael Wong, her daughter-in-law, Diana Wong and eight great-grandchildren . Along with her husband, Mon, Fay is predeceased by her son, Danny Wong, her daughter, Lillian Bologna and her companion, Joe Stavola. Funeral Information Funeral services for Fay will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 8th at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7th at Cornell Memorial Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Donations Information The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fay's name to Danbury Hospital Development for 8 Tower Unit, Danbury.
